Fisher of Men (and his best friend)

His name is Blod. He is a Scottish Terrier and he loves the water. And apparently he loves jumping into creeks.
So, I found myself on the steep banks fishing for ol’ Blod.

Remember that movie “The Guardian”?
It’s about Ashton Koosher and his attempts at joining the Coast Guard.
Well, I wondered if I was going to relive that moment when Koosher experiences his first dive into the icy depths. Thankfully I didn’t have to.
Blod is returned to his owner.
And In return for my bravery I receive a swift thank you, a handshake, and a big smile.

No simple act ever goes unnoticed. Or that’s what I’ve read on the Internet.
In Britain many people put up walls, making them look stand-offish or unapproachable.

I think people here long and crave for friendships. They crave it like Shepherds Pie and Brains.

I pray for that woman, that she would encounter Jesus through someone else “walking that extra mile.”

Today has been a good day.

Bl**dy Cardiff

Hey guys I’ve made it safe to Cardiff, and it’s pretty nice. After a long flight and an even longer bus ride we made it to the hotel. We saw a castle and we walked to one of the outreach areas, it was really like stepping into another world. One minute you’re surrounded by cars and the honking of horns and smog. Then once you enter “Bute Park” and it was like stepping into the Chronicles of Narnia or Lord of the Rings. Or I might have been imagining it because we were all jet-lagged and starving.

And Chips (fries) go with everything.
Chips and cheese, beans and cheese and chips, chicken curry and chips, chips on top of chips, chips in chips, chips with salad, chips with sausage, chips stuffed chips, and chips icecream. Just kidding, they don’t have chips n' icecream.

cheers!

observations:
-Don’t call them English
-Look left
-Pubs are becoming one of my favorite places to go
-Brains isn’t what you think it is. And I don’t think it tastes very good.
-I will return with a British accent
