Fisher of Men (and his best friend)

His name is Blod. He is a Scottish Terrier and he loves the water. And apparently he loves jumping into creeks.
So, I found myself on the steep banks fishing for ol’ Blod.

Remember that movie “The Guardian”?
It’s about Ashton Koosher and his attempts at joining the Coast Guard.
Well, I wondered if I was going to relive that moment when Koosher experiences his first dive into the icy depths. Thankfully I didn’t have to.
Blod is returned to his owner.
And In return for my bravery I receive a swift thank you, a handshake, and a big smile.

No simple act ever goes unnoticed. Or that’s what I’ve read on the Internet.
In Britain many people put up walls, making them look stand-offish or unapproachable.

I think people here long and crave for friendships. They crave it like Shepherds Pie and Brains.

I pray for that woman, that she would encounter Jesus through someone else “walking that extra mile.”

Today has been a good day.

What's the meaning/story behind the name of your blog?? :)

P.S. I'm glad Blod is safe!

hah, answering a question posted over 2 years ago.....

Dogs are also known as, "Man's best friend."

So not only did we hope to be fishers of men that summer, we actually became fishers of "men's best friend."
